Solutions to the problems from the problem session last week.

As discussed in lectures, Assessed Coursework #1 is now due on Wednesday 15th February.  It consists of exercises from Sutherland, as follows: Exercise 5.6, Exercise 6.8, Exercise 6.25, Exercise 7.6, Exercise 9.5, and Exercise 9.14.  The following problem is entirely optional and is worth precisely zero marks, but if you hand it in then it will be graded along with the other exercises: Exercise 8.7.  I remind you of the policy on collaboration for the course.  The questions, in JPEG format, are here.
